Collection: Tiredness and Fatigue

Tired of feeling tired? Tiredness and fatigue can affect many people from all walks of life - whether its students that have been studying (or partying) too hard, or a parent with young children. Sometimes, there may even be no discernible reason for feeling tired - getting enough sleep may not have worked, or for some it may not be an option.

Thankfully, there are a number of ways that you can naturally boost your energy levels:

  • Vitamin B - There are eight B vitamins in total and they contribute to a whole host of important functions in the human body, from the regulation of hormonal activity, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Levels of these B vitamins can change through poor diet, stress, or from alcohol consumption. To combat this you can increase your intake of these vitamins by having more whole grain foods, milk, and eggs. You can also supplement your diet with vitamin B containing products such as our Multivitamins or B complex below.
  • Vitamin C - There are also a range of important benefits of vitamin C including its contribution to a normal energy-yielding metabolism, and reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin C also helps to increase iron absorption, which also plays a role in reducing tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin C can be found in foods such as oranges, red & green peppers, strawberries, and potatoes. You can also supplement your diet by taking vitamin C containing products such as our Multivitamin below.
  • Iron - Iron contributes to the normal formation of our red blood cells and haemoglobin*, and also contributes to the normal transport of oxygen around our body. Therefore one of the more commonly experienced symptoms of low iron levels is tiredness and fatigue. Iron can be found in foods such as meat, beans, nuts, liver, and most green leafy vegetables. You can also supplement your diet with iron containing products such as our Multivitamin below.
  • Vitamin D - Many people may not be aware, but deficiency of vitamin D has also shown to contribute to the feeling of tiredness and fatigue. In countries like the UK it can be difficult to get enough vitamin D. That's because your body relies on sunlight to produce most of its vitamin D. For more information on vitamin D and those who are at an increased risk of having a vitamin D deficiency, click here. You can supplement your diet with vitamin D containing products such as out Multivitamins or our high dose Vitamin D products below.

Our Multivitamins below contain at least 100% of the nutrient reference value (NRV) of vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin D, and iron in just one tablet, ensuring you can cover all bases everyday.
